Work Wise UK is a major initiative which aims to assist organisations to introduce flexibility into the work place, for the benefit of employers, the company and the employees. This initiative for the region springs from a partnership with EEDA, Business Link East, BT, Flexibility, Dell, Anglian Water, TUC, Essex County Council and others, who see Work Wise UK as vital to the East region's growth, enabling flexibility of employment to be understood and adopted by business and the public sector. This event will prepare business leaders for the opportunities and the challenges.

The Work Wise UK East launch on 30 November will include introductory presentations followed by a choice of workshops on the following subjects:

1. Regulatory Flexibility - Understanding the legal dimensions of flexible working
2. New Organisations, New Cultures
3. Flexible Working - A Strategic & Evidence based approach
4. Work Wise with Technology
