Take IT on - home latest news. Digital Makeover CompetitionThe East of England Development Agency (EEDA) has launched a competition, in partnership with the Cambridge Evening News, to find an East of England based business in need of an IT makeover.
The takeITon campaign is offering one business an IT makeover, which will provide the winning business with IT consultancy up to the value of £2,000 to help look at the businesses current and future IT needs. The winner will also win a laptop, equipped with Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007 for Small Businesses, anti-virus internet security software and a wireless USB internet connection worth in total up to £1,000. The closing date for entries is 28th November 2008 and a winner will be chosen at random. The winner will be announced in the week commencing 8th December 2008.
COMPETITION RULES
1. The Competition will be open to owner / managers of businesses in the East of England [aged 18 or over], which employ between 5-50 FTE Employees. The competition is not open to employees of the East of England Development Agency, or any other person who is directly connected with the competition or their immediate family.
2. Only one entry per person and per company is allowed.
3. The closing date for completed entries is 28th November 2008
4. Any entry which is late, incomplete, illegible or otherwise does not comply with the rules may be deemed invalid on the sole discretion of EEDA.
5. The winner will be chosen at random and will be formally notified within 28 days of the closing date. The competition organiser’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. No cash alternative or alternative prize is available on entrants request, but in the event of the advertised competition prize being unavailable we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
7. The competition organisers do not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
8. The competition organisers reserve the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.
9. We will not pass on your personal details to any other organisation without your permission except for the purposes of running the competition which you have entered.
10. The winner of the competition will be required to participate in promotional activities including but not restricted to: photography, participation in media interviews, acting as a case study for the takeITon website and other materials.
